East Lyme Public Trust Foundation Live Webcam

We are aware that the camera is down and are working with the Town of East Lyme to restore access.

This is a live view of the Niantic Bay Boardwalk, the Hole In The Wall Town Beach, and the marginal walkway along the eastern bluff of the Town's McCook Point Park. It results from several years of effort and several thousand dollars in cost to the East Lyme Public Trust Foundation and its donors some of whose resources were used to purchase and install this recording, state-of-the-art video camera. Its purpose is to add to the security and enjoyment of all who visit the Niantic Bay Overlook park, which we recognize as an important piece of The 75th Most Desirable Small Town in the United States in which to live. We provide these views for your information on weather and sea conditions at the park. It also provides views of the Niantic River Bridge which was reconstructed from 2010 to 2013. Specifications of that work permitted in the US Army Corps of Engineers environmental permit can be viewed here.

The operation of the video camera is now under the control of the East Lyme video cameras security system and is operated by the East Lyme 911 Center. Questions or comments about the camera should be directed to the  Foundation.
